90 Days Finn Fancy becoming a Finn for 90 Days? That is what Helsinki Partners wanted to ask entrepreneurs, investors, founders and business professionals around the world to help solve the City’s tech talent deficit. Citizen executed a targeted media sell-in campaign for tier one, international outlets focussed on the audiences we wanted to enter the programme. Our earned media work was supported by social media outreach through LinkedIn and Twitter to spread the word far and wide.

As a result Helsinki received 10 tier one earned media placements, over 151 Million audience coverage reach and a 60% uptake in applications for their programme which included 15 leading business professionals joining in 2023.

Helsinki At Davos Helsinki is a thriving smart city with an ambitious goal to be carbon neutral by 2030. Yet, international recognition for the city remains low. Finnish Flow is an organisation striving to showcase the best of Helsinki through a series of ‘change-makers’ – a group of next generation leaders all working to make a positive impact on our planet. Citizen worked with Finnish Flow to present Helsinki as a smart city of the future at the World Economic Forum in Davos 2022 – by showcasing its innovation credentials through presentations and on-site events. We also promoted each of the Change-makers through a series of media profiles and interviews.

Events hosted by Finnish Flow were oversubscribed and generated over 50+ new partnership conversations. Press engagement in the lead up to the event and onsite with the likes of Forbes, Monocle, Politico, The Guardian and WSJ. Total global press coverage reach of +200M.
