Citizen Relations had a standout evening at the PRNEWS 2026 Platinum Awards this week in New York City, taking home two major accolades. The PRNEWS Platinum Awards celebrate the most innovative, industry-defining public relations campaigns and the trailblazing agencies behind them.

The agency was recognized for its exceptional experiential work, winning Best Pop Up Experience for the Papa Johns ‘Michelin Dining Experience’ campaign. Helping the pizza chain pursue a Michelin Star for its new pan pizza crafted with premium ingredients, the activation was praised for its bold concept and rapid execution, delivering a highly engaging and culturally relevant moment for the brand.

“The success of this campaign shows the power of bold storytelling,” said Erin Georgieff, Managing Partner, US Growth & West Coast Operations. “Taking an idea from pitch to reality in just a matter of weeks, and then earning Best Pop-Up Experience, proves that even on a tight timeline, a great PR campaign stems from great ideas.”

Citizen Relations was also named to the Agency Elite Top 120 list. This honor places Citizen among an exclusive group of PR and communications agencies that are recognized for setting the pace, driving innovation, and shaping the future of the entire industry.

“Earning a place on the Agency Elite Top 120 shows the relentless drive of our Citizens,” said Laura Bremer, President, U.S. at Citizen Relations. “This recognition goes beyond any single campaign. It signifies that we are consistently operating at the forefront of the industry, challenging conventions, and delivering the highest caliber of work for our partners.”

These latest honors add to an already impressive year for Citizen. In 2026, the agency was recognized at multiple award shows, including 6 wins at The Drum Awards, and 5 wins at ILEA Esprit Awards.
