With submissions open to agencies, brands, public sector bodies, NGOs, and nonprofits, winning at this show is a great feat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Citizen\u2019s Addy\u2019s Crystal Ball campaign helped raise a total of $7.7 million for SickKid\u2019s Precision Child Health &#8211; a revolutionary approach to pediatric healthcare &#8211; 26% over the donation goal. The campaign was anchored in the story of 13-year-old Addison Hill, a real SickKids patient who was diagnosed with angiosarcoma, a rare, aggressive tumor. The campaign featured a 10 ft. crystal ball based on the one Addy gave her doctor when he couldn\u2019t confidently answer the question \u201cwill I live or die?\u201d The giant crystal ball, which has now found its permanent spot in Addy\u2019s hometown, symbolizes the power of Precision Child Health: \u201cWhen we see the future, we can heal the future\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The campaign has also been recognized at the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.citizenrelations.com\/en\/citizen-wins-big-at-ilea-espirit-awards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ILEA Espirit Awards<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.citizenrelations.com\/en\/citizen-wins-gold-silver-awards-across-canadian-shows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Canadian Marketing Association awards<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.citizenrelations.com\/en\/citizen-relations-takes-home-wins-at-the-effie-awards-canada-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2024 Effie Canada Awards<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Along with this campaign, Citizen was shortlisted in three other categories at the awards for:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Best Diversity, Equity, or Inclusion \u2013 Vizzibility Booth (Molson)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Best Use of Creativity &#8211; Vizzibility Booth (Molson)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Best Advocacy &#8211; <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.citizenrelations.com\/en\/case-study\/gallery-of-memories\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gallery of Memories (Egale)<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No stranger to purpose-driven marketing, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Citizen\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.citizenrelations.com\/en\/case-study\/reclaim-your-name\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ReclaimYourName.dic<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> campaign for Elimin8Hate took home three awards, including the Best In Show award as The Most Purposeful campaign, at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citizenrelations.com\/en\/citizen-takes-home-ultimate-prize-prweek-purpose-awards\/\">PRWeek Purpose Awards in 2023.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week, the sixth PRWeek Purpose Awards took place, where Citizen Relations took home the \u2018Best Fundraising\u2019 award for their \u2018Addy\u2019s Crystal Ball\u2019 campaign with SickKids Foundation.\u00a0 The PRWeek Purpose Awards recognize those campaigns that further authentic purpose and create meaningful impact through creative ideas.
