When we looked at the research available today on this topic, we were frustrated at the lack of data on how ethnically diverse communities connect with a brand\u2019s marketing &#8211; there just isn\u2019t enough data to inform how to do things differently.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We wanted to <\/span><b>connect the dots between consumer, content creator, and brand <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to provide insights that lead to creating inclusivity from behind and in front of the camera. To do that, Citizen Relations established the <\/span><b>Citizen Inclusive Influencer Index <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which surveyed nearly 2500 ethnically diverse consumers in 2022 and led focus groups with ethnically diverse influencers in the US and Canada.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our research revealed four cornerstones of creating trust-centered, authentic, inclusive influencer marketing:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">connections<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">channels<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">content<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">commitment<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2073 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.citizenrelations.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/IMS-for-One-pager_0-791x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"829\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.citizenrelations.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/IMS-for-One-pager_0-791x1024.jpg 791w, https:\/\/www.citizenrelations.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/IMS-for-One-pager_0-232x300.jpg 232w, https:\/\/www.citizenrelations.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/IMS-for-One-pager_0-768x994.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.citizenrelations.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/IMS-for-One-pager_0.jpg 816w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The findings of this study have the potential to change how we think about inclusivity in the realm of influencer marketing, and we are eager to get to work.
